I finally went back into the workforce on Wednesday
- my temp agency sent me out on a three-day Excel
project for some health insurance company. Like the
putz I am, I finished it in five hours, at a net loss
of about $200. I've really gotta learn to slack off
less on my own time and more on company time, or else
I'll never get anything done. It was freaking weird,
tightening that old tie around my neck, tucking my
shirt into my slacks, and packing onto the sweaty
L train to midtown with all of the rest of the assholes.
You forget just how lame the world is sometimes.
